Our R&D director, Timur Dudkin, concluded this hot summer with an intense coffee trip to Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
The first stop – Baku. Azerbaijan, the capital and most populous city of the country on the shores of the Caspian Sea.
On August 23, we were at the Sensum by Amapola school, where we had an excellent and interesting cupping of coffees from Central America and Africa.
The visit with almost 30 coffee specialists, roasters and baristas was a success.
It was very interesting to hear comments and questions about our coffee, greet old friends and make new friends who love specialty coffee.
Once we finished our experience in Azerbaijan on August 31, we continued our visit to Kazakhstan, to the province of Almaty where two interesting events took place:
The first part of the day took place in the showroom of our partnerSerikov Coffee, where we held an open tasting for roasters from Almaty, the largest city in Kazakhstan.
