"Family is the most important thing to me."
Coffee Producer Jaime Figueroa
A glimpse of its history and its coffee experience
When I was a child I spent summers in the countryside with my grandmother, those summers awakened in me a great passion for the countryside.
After my university training as an agronomist, I began my career as a coffee grower and member of the cooperative more than thirty years ago.
A critical point for me is the drastic climate changes that we cannot control with both very dry and very wet seasons.
All the stages are important for the production process of my coffees, especially the drying of the coffee in the sun on an African bed since there is no control of conditions.
Achieving good results, both in the production of excellent quality coffees and in economic results, is the most satisfying part of my job.
