Southern Region
43.65% of the country’s total coffee is grown in this region
- Ranked 1st in the world as a coffee producing region
- 46,168 hectares are cultivated with coffee trees.
- The estimated population is 1.741 million inhabitants.
- Its surface area is 18,245 km².
- It is made up of ten provincesElías Piña, San Juan, Azua, Bahoruco, Independencia, Barahona, Pedernales, San José Ocoa, San Cristóbal and Peravia.

Eastern Region
28.75% of the country’s total coffee is cultivated in this region
- Ranked 2nd in the world as a coffee producing region
- 30,408 hectares are cultivated with coffee trees.
- Estimated population is 4.897 million inhabitants
- Its surface area is 11,712 km².
- It is made up of seven provinces and the National DistrictMonte Plata, Santo Domingo, Hato Mayor, San Pedro de Macoris, El Seibo, La Romana, La Altagracias and the National District.

Northern Region
27.60% of the country’s total coffee is cultivated in this region
- Ranked 3rd in the world as a coffee producing region
- 29,192 hectares are cultivated with coffee trees.
- Estimated population is 3.337 million inhabitants
- Its surface area is 19,114 km².
- It is made up of fourteen provincesMonte Cristi, Puerto Plata, Dajabón, Valverde, Santiago Rodríguez, Santiago, Espaillat, María Trinidad Sánchez, Duarte, La Vega, Sánchez Ramirez, Samaná, Hermanas Mirabal and Monseñor Nouel.
