Defects

For each 300 grams of coffee, the number of defects marked for each preparation is allowed without
distinguish primary from secondary.

It is necessary to know

Producers and especially exporters are increasingly tending to add the maximum number of defects within the grade of the type of green coffee they market. What was originally a qualitative practice has degenerated into a pejorative practice, since on many occasions what they do is to lower the quality officially marked by the type of preparation.
