JAIME FIGUEROA'S COFFEES
NI 1225
Ni is the Star that gives its name to all the coffee lots produced by Jaime Figueroa in his Lucitania farm located in the coffee growing region of Huila. The lots are differentiated by their different characteristics in terms of flavor, aroma and processes. Each coffee grower receives the name of a star to denominate his lots, thus forming a great coffee universe.

Jaime Figueroa, spent all his summer vacations in the countryside with his grandmother Encarnación.
Mrs. Encarnación lived on a small farm with a few coffee trees and a few cows, grandmother and grandson made and shared an unforgettable country life during the months of school vacations, she transmitted to Jaime her great passion for country things and coffee crops, over time Jaime developed what his grandmother had passed on to him in the cultivation of coffee on her Lucitania farm.
Over the years, Jaime Figueroa graduated with a degree in agronomy and began to dedicate himself completely to coffee growing.
The Lucitania farm was developed more than 30 años ago, The company was founded in the early days of coffee growing in the Department of Huila, with visionary entrepreneurs of the time -among them Jaime Figueroa- forming part of a cooperative that interacts with coffee growers, and supports them by working together with them to obtain quality coffees that are differentiated in the market.
The Lucitania Farm has sixty hectares of which forty are dedicated to coffee cultivation. of varietals such as Caturra, Castillo or Colombia, the coffee trees grow in volcanic soils of the Eastern Cordillera of Colombia, right in the center of the Department of Huila next to the Miraflores páramo, as a great ecological reserve of the Colombian massif.
Lucitania continues to maintain one of the greatest traditions of the area, maintaining an efficient and productive coffee culture, producing the best coffees in the region.

The coffee growing region of Huila is located in the southeastern part of the country, with an estimated population of 1.1 million inhabitants and an area of 19,890 km², This region has 35 coffee growing districts, among them Garzón, Gigante, Guadalupe and Pitalito. These districts are home to more than 84,000 families that cultivate more than 1,145,000 hectares of Arabica coffee of the Castillo, Colombia, Típica, Caturra, Borbón and Tabí varietals, Huila occupies the 1st place as a coffee growing region in the country.
