  1. It is one of the five coffee origins that make up the Amazonian coffee geography.
  2. It has 36 coffee growing regions, each with its own differentiated cup profile.
  3. Seventy percent of its production is of the arabica species and 30 percent of the robusta species.
  4. 2.79% of the cultivated land, 1,823,403 hectares, is planted with coffee trees.
  5. The most cultivated Arabica varieties are Mundo Novo and Catuaí.
  6. Its production is smallholder, with thousands of families dedicated to and dependent on its cultivation.

Located in the northwestern region of South America, bordering Venezuela, Ecuador, Panama, Peru and Brazil, Colombia has a landscape full of colors, reliefs and contrasts, with diverse fauna and flora, tropical forests, mountains and coffee plantations.
