"Coffee growing is my passion."
Coffee producer Moses Kamura
A glimpse of its history and its coffee experience
Agriculture is my passion, since I was a child I have worked cultivating the land, until I decided to specialize in the cultivation of coffee.
In 2005 I became a coffee producer, although I had been helping to manage my father’s farmsince I was very young.
A critical point for me is the washing of the coffees, as it is one of the processes in which you have to be extremely careful.
One of the most important steps in the coffee production process is to pick only the cherries that are at their optimum point of ripeness.
The effort and constant work during the harvesting process allow us to achieve good results in the production and quality of our coffees.

The Moses Kamura Estate
Gifted Coffee Farm
Moses Kamura’s father was a coffee farmer, he had a farm called Kamugiri, this farm was about 16 hectares and Moses along with his three brothers, helped his father in the tasks of the farm.
The Kamugiri farm had its own washing station, built by Moses’ father in the 1980s. Ahen Moses’ father died, the farm was divided among the four brothers, and Moses Kamura became a coffee farmer.
The farm that Moses had inherited, he called Gifted as it was a gift from his father. During the first years he used the family washing station -one of his brothers had the use of the structure every day-, more than 8 years ago, Moses built his own washing station on his farm, today he harvests and processes all his coffees at the Gifted farm.
