Coffee infusion techniques

Infusion means to transfer flavor components from a solid medium to a liquid medium.

In the case of coffee, the maximum amount of roasted coffee particles that can be dissolved in water is 30%, since the rest are other components that are not soluble, for example, fibers.

Type of extraction

By extraction we mean the process by which, by using water over the coffee, all the coffee is extracted and aromas and flavors present in the grain

Methods for infusing coffee

There are different techniques for transferring flavor components from a solid medium to a liquid medium. Some bring out the sweetness of the coffee and others the bitterness; others can even accentuate the fruity notes, while others make the coffee astringent.
