We continue to move forward, sharing knowledge and unifying criteria in the world of coffee, which is why we decided to create a collective project, led by our Qlab<\/strong> team, and other quality coffee professionals to improve and expand the coffee descriptor wheel, in order to involve everyone in the culture of quality coffee <\/strong>and its fascinating world of aromas and flavours.<\/p>\n

The wheel already has its version in more than 25 different languages, ask for your language or the one you are interested in and you will be able to request the translated<\/strong> version. On the other hand, we are still working with a few more with the idea of sharing coffee culture and with the aim that coffee lovers can deepen their knowledge and cupping skills<\/strong> and improve their ability to define the descriptors found in any good coffee.<\/p>\n

How has it been improved?<\/p>\n

Starting from the classic wheel of descriptors to improve and expand it, it has been endowed with a greater descriptive capacity, expanding each aromatic family until reaching an objective range of final descriptors<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

We start from the three basic groups of olfactory and taste sensations: enzymatic, caramelization and dry distillation<\/strong>, to structure up to 145 characteristic descriptors that can be found in a good coffee. You can read here<\/a> how it works in detail.<\/p>\n

Different ideas and applications<\/p>\n

A series of coffee descriptor wheel gadgets<\/strong> have been produced, different ideas and applications ready to serve during cupping sessions. Never alone, all the gadgets are designed to walk together<\/strong>, they all go with the brand of those who collaborate in the promotion of the coffee culture.<\/p>\n

Postcards printed on different materials; recycled paper, corn, grapes or coffee, perfect to send<\/strong> to customers, suppliers, to be shared as a complement to your good coffee and for sure for many other ideas that you will come up with and share.
