Mannasse Kibochi began to dedicate himself to coffee growing thanks to his father and it became a family tradition. Since he was a child, he worked on the farm supporting his father in the coffee production tasks. In 2008, he inherited the Raisins Farm and became the owner and principal Producer. The name of the Spikes farm comes from another business that the producer runs, the ‘Matatu’, small and colorful buses that are used for transportation in Kenya, Mannasse currently has four of these vehicles, the first one was called Spikes, which is why he also decided to call the farm that way.
