The Muganza Washed station is located in the Kizi Rift coffee region, specifically in the Nyamagabe coffee district, and was expanded and refurbished in 2002. This station is a neuralgic center of the local coffee industry, its strategic location guarantees proximity to the coffee plantations in the area. The fertile soils of Nyamagabe district are ideal for the Cultivation of high quality Coffee. Muganza is located at an altitude of 1,700 m.a.s.l. and receives cherries from over 250 coffee growers who cultivate their coffee trees at altitudes between 1,700 and 2,000 m.a.s.l.
