SEGIN is the Star that gives its name to all the coffee lots produced by Emmanuel Rusatira’s Washed stations -Baho Coffee- at its Fugi Washed station located in the Kizi Rift coffee region, specifically in the Nyaruguru coffee district. The lots are differentiated by their different characteristics in terms of flavor, aroma and processes. Each washing station receives the name of a star to denominate its lots, thus forming a great coffee universe.

The Fugi Washed station is located in the Kizi Rift coffee region, specifically in the Nyaruguru coffee district, named after the nearest village, the Washed station is 5 minutes from the Burundi border. It was built in 2013 and expanded and improved in 2016, it is located at an altitude of 1,550 m.a.s.l. This Washed station works with more than 850 Coffee Producers in the region who manage between 170 and 200 trees growing at heights between 1,550 and 1,850 m.a.s.l. The production of these trees is equivalent to approximately one and a half exportable bags of Green coffee per Producer, which defines how small Rwandan producers are on average. Fugi employs about 70 people at the peak of the season, there are seasonal and part-time workers who rotate, in addition to a core staff.
