Our visit to the Coffee Fest with Giesen Coffee Roasters

Participantes del c ampeonato de tueste Roast Rumble en Coffee Fest

We had been talking to the Giesen Coffee Roasters team for some time about how much we wanted to work together again on an event and develop some activity.
After some time talking, our team and Giesen’s team decided to participate in the Coffee Fest in Madrid and organize an alternative roasting championship, the Roast Rumble.

The Roast Rumble as we told you in our previous post, is a championship in which 10 roasters test their knowledge roasting in the Giesen W1R machine, which thanks to its electric mode and its filters is able to roast without smoke.

In this first edition of the Championship we would like to thank all the roasters who participated and our judges who proclaimed Mayar González from Hidden Coffee Roasters, Luís Ángel González from Puyaos Coffee and Teodora Pitis from Sloane Coffee as the winners with the best coffee roasts, who thanks to Mare Terra Coffee Institute will be able to take one of their courses 😉

In addition to the Roast Rumble, at the event we were able to share coffees, chats and tastings with many customers, friends, coffee lovers and partners.
We carried out several activities during these days, and we distributed coffee at the stands of Best Brew, La Marzocco and San Remo who lent us his X – One grinder for our stand and it was wonderful to work with him during these days, thank you!

Soon we will receive our new lots of coffees from RWANDA so we organized a tasting with these lots at Marcos Zoya’s stand where we could talk with the participants about the Social Project we are developing in this origin.

Being together with Giesen and participating in Coffee Fest Madrid has been a great experience, we are very happy to be part of this festival.

See you next year 🙂
