Rwanda, tasting of a special origin at La Marzocco

Our first Coffee tasting of 2024
It is clear that for us the RWANDA origin is special. It is a peculiar and energetic origin, perhaps not only because of the good coffee lots that are developed in the country, but also because of the people who make it possible. The good relationship we have built with our partner in RWANDA, Emmanuel from Baho Coffee, adds to this.
This origin is also special because we have developed a social project together with Baho Coffee for the prevention of breast cancer.
Following the good relations and the energy that this country gives us, we wanted to continue the coffee community chain with our partners in Europe.
Taking advantage of the fact that we already have in our Laboratory the pre-shipment samples of the coffees from RWANDA that will arrive during the month of February, our team has organized some talks about the origin of Rwanda accompanied by a tasting of the new lots.
We held our first two events last week in Madrid and Barcelona in the spaces of our partner Raisins La Marzocco.
The talks were focused on informing the attendees about how the production of Green coffee in Rwanda works, how the Washed stations are organized and the traceability that we offer of our coffees.
We also shared with the attendees all the details about the Project for the prevention of breast cancer that we are developing and the objectives that we have set for 2024. We finished the event with a tasting of all the coffees that will arrive from RWANDA and at the end all the attendees commented about the coffees, their preferences and voted for their favorite lot, Cih was one of the most voted in Madrid and Barcelona, let’s see which lot is the most voted in other countries 😉
During this month and the month of February we have more tastings of Coffee from Rwanda organized in other Spanish cities such as Valencia and also in Paris and Bucharest.
If you are in these countries or in these cities and want to taste the new arrivals of the batches from Rwanda, do not hesitate and sign up for the tastings that we organize!
We finish this post by thanking our friends from La Marzocco for this collaboration and for lending us their space to spend some coffee time together, to all the participants thank you for coming.
See you soon!
