PRAECIPUA is the Star that gives its name to all the lots of coffee produced by Rosebella Langat at the Chepsangor Hills Coffee washing station, located in the Nandi Hills coffee growing region.
The lots are differentiated by their different characteristics in taste, aroma and processing. Each washing station is named after a star to name its lots, thus forming a large coffee universe.

The Chepsangor Hills Washed Station, is located in the Nandi Coffee region, specifically in the Nandi Hills Coffee District.
This Washed Station operated years ago but stopped doing so until 2016 when Rosabella Langat and Sammy decided to leave their professional careers in Nairobi to return to their roots and dedicate themselves to the world of coffee, thus helping an entire community.
They currently grow and process coffee cherries in an area that was initially a plantation in the 1950s. The locals stopped cultivating it because they associated it with colonialism. The few remaining coffee farmers had to take their cherries more than 20 km to the nearest Washed station to process their cherries because the initial Pulped station had been destroyed.
Rosabella and Sammy filled that gap by installing an eco-friendly pulper in Chepsangor with a capacity of 1.5 tons per hour in order to support and encourage the sustainable growth of coffee in the nearby hills.
Currently, Chepsangor receives cherries from more than 150 Producers, from the Variety SL 28, Batian and Riuriu, processing a total production of about 45,000 coffee trees that grow at altitudes between 1,700 and 2,000 meters above sea level in volcanic soils.
Together with them we developed several of our processes, such as Natural Sleeping Bag, DF Washed or OOTB Anaerobic Natural Mountain Dry among others.
All batches produced at this Washed station are named after the Praecipua star of our Constellations Range.
