The El jardín farm was acquired in 1986 by Rosa Inés Rubio, a single mother who saw in coffee growing a future for her two children. In spite of all the crises that have occurred in the coffee sector, he managed to provide for his two children with the small farm El Jardin. In 2017 the young Luis Fernando, younger son of Rosa Inés took the reins of the Farm seeing a promising future in the Farm for his family. Today, Luis Fernando is focused on the world of specialty coffees, giving a radical turn to the farm, from the agronomic part to the fermentation process. a balance between the sustainable and environmentally friendly and in the value-added part such as fermentations implementing new techniques to exploit the attributes that are developed in such a privileged area as the great little Dipilto.
