In July, Timur Dudkin, R%D director, visited Colombia to work with farmers and technicians to improve the fermentation and drying processes for coffee. During the trip, training and visits were made to outstanding farms, such as La Esmeralda and La Esperanza, where innovations were implemented to improve coffee quality. The work of Hertson Bernal, a key Producer, was highlighted and knowledge continued to be shared in order to optimize the processes.

A summary of our trip to Rwanda, with our R&D team, to further develop our partnerships in the different washing stations in the country

At the beginning of May, an educational day was held in Rwanda by health experts of the project we are part of: Breast Cancer Prevention.

Our last destination of our coffee trip to Central America: El Salvador. A small country but one of the most advanced in green coffee.

During our visit to Nicaragua in the spring of 2023, we took a decisive step in the development of the Coffee Heritage project. We strengthened collaboration with local Producers, worked on improving quality processes and began a series of educational meetings with young people from the Ocotal Technology Center. This experience reaffirms our commitment to sustainability, training and the future of coffee growing.

At the end of February we traveled to Guatemala. In this post we explain the project we started last year and are still working on.
