Our participation in the World of Coffee 2023

We returned from Athens with a euphoric happiness for what World of Coffee 2023 has meant to us.

As every year at this time of the year, part of the Mare Terra team travelled to the WOC to present some of Mare Terra’s products at our stand in the Roaster Village.the coffees that will be arriving in the coming weeks and in which our R&D Department has been working hand in hand with producers for months. Such as Andres Salaverría or Martha Albir who have been present at the tastings of their coffees and have been able to enjoy all the work done. For many customers it has been great to be able to spend some time with the producers of the batches.Vega and Deneb.

We have also organised activities and had aBrew Bar where many of our customers and friends have come to prepare their best filter coffees.

This year, we have also presented a renewal of the Mare Terra brand with which we feel very identified!

The World of Coffee for those of us involved in specialty coffee is an important event in which the world’s coffee growers, coffee drinkers and coffee lovers are invited to participate. meetings with customers, partners, producers and relations with new people involved in the coffee business It’s intense but very rewarding and we love it 🙂

Once again this year our activities have been a success, here are the results:

• Mini Brewers Cup: For the second consecutive year, Anne deMartines Coffee Roasters brewed the best Brew and won the prize of a set of products from Best Brew
• Memory Match: Anastasiia Filippova from The Welder Catherine was the winner of the activity and won a ticket to Open de Cata 2023!
• Rafflle, for 1 Unique lot was won byLe cafe pointu
  
  Congratulations to all of you!

This year, we have made our debut in the Cupping Rooms, on Saturday we organised a private tasting, only for invited guests.

In this tasting, through a QR the participants filled in the answers in a survey, the coffees were tasted blindly and once finished, our team exposed the answers in open to compare, really the coffees. results were very closeThe format of the tasting and the answers were very interesting for all the attendees.

This is just a brief summary of what the World of Coffee was like for us.
